Slow burning cardio exercises help you lose weight over a longer period however the greatest benefit is that if you stop exercising in the long run then it will also take your body a long time to gain the weight back and doesn’t mess up your metabolism, if slow burning sounds like the best choice then you should consider these exercises:

• Walking – A brisk walk for 30mins a day will bring great results over a longer period, as well as losing weight you will feel much healthier.
• Running – Again, running works fantastically. Better than walking but not as intense as regular sprints.

• Swimming – Swimming gives you a full body workout which is great for burning fat in all areas with similar results to step aerobics.
• Rowing – A fantastic way to burn fat and really tone and build your arms.

Combine these slow fat burning cardio exercises with a controlled healthy diet and you’re on to a winner, losing weight over a longer period but being healthier in the end goal with less chance of putting the weight back on.
